1983 was a very good year. In theaters, nerds got to enjoy the best Star Wars film, Return of the Jedi, and in real life, nerds got to enjoy the Red Box Basic Set for D&D. This was a huge moment for a number of reasons. For one, the Basic Set is part of the BECMI rules series, for those of you who know what that means.
