Games Workshop launched Warhammer Academy, an online resource for new Warhammer players.
The Warhammer Academy offers over 150 videos aimed at helping new players take their first steps in the hobby. These videos are divided into Pathways that cover Warhammer lore, building an army, painting an army, and playing engaging in their first games. As of launch, the site is only offering tutorials on Warhammer 40,000, but more lines will be added over time. The site is free to use, fans only need to create a My Warhammer account to use the site; the Academy content is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.
Games Workshop also announced two new Warhammer 40,000 Starter Sets, which will hit retail soon (see “‘Warhammer 40,000 Starter Sets’“).
