Pokémon is leading the way at AA Comics & Cards (located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania) where owner Paul Zerman says sales are up about 30% compared to June 2025. “This is largely due to the spike in Pokémon sales (accounting for 45% of the month’s total sales),” Zerman told ICv2. ” Comic sales are still a strong number 2 spot in sales, but slightly down from the same time last year. Trades are selling much better than they have in years, which I believe is due to the massive success of the DC Compacts.” Here’s a look at what Zerman is seeing in the store these days.

The New Hotness in the Store: Absolute Green Arrow, The Deadman. “Swamp Thing has people talking, and we do really well with Feral.“
What’s Bringing in New Customers: Pokémon is particularly hot right now. “Cards in general are seeing huge increases in sales including M:TG and Topps sport and non-sport cards.”
Biggest Challenge in the Last Month: “Keeping Pokémon in stock.”
Pick Hits for Upcoming Launch Titles: “Hello Kitty – I’m not sure I need to say more about this title. We have early strong numbers for the new Miles Spider-Man series.”
