5 sneaky hints to change your life (kitbashers LOVE this).

June has been a crazy month for Warhammer fans with tons and tons of new stuff revealed for almost every system Games Workshop publishes. And with five Tuesdays in the month GW teased five upcoming models and amazingly, three of these hints have already been revealed in full! We’re gonna examine all five images but let’s start with the two Unsolved Mysteries™.

Sigmar Save me!

Our first mystery came from 06/23/2026, one week ago. This gentleperson bears the attire of a Sigmarite warrior, presumably a defender of the Cities of Sigmar. He looks like he’s having a very bad day, or perhaps he’s already had his final very bad day ever. At any rate, a mysterious hand is reaching down but to help, harm, or??? This miniature remains a mystery but looks like it might be a secondary element to a much larger figure.

Swirly

Fresh from the oven, today’s (06/30/26) rumour engine was described as “a swirl of madness.” Just what we’re seeing is anyone’s guess but if you ask me, it looks like it might be a spell effect on a Tzeentchian model of some kind. Definitely a bit of a Thousand Sons vibe here, but it could also fit neatly onto a Chaos Undivided beast like the vortex of a Mutalith. On the other hand, now that I think about it, it also reminds me a little of the spell effects found on some Sylvaneth models for Age of Sigmar. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Clawesome Spike!

Originally teased on 06/02/26, this fearsome claw gripping a shard of stone inspired a lot of discussion. Obviously part of a much larger model it looked like it might be from a dragon or drake. Well, we didn’t have to wait long for the reveal…

If you guessed dragon, you got it right! The teaser was for the incredible new Chaos Dragon revealed just a few days ago. A true beast of a kit, this is one of the most exciting previews for The Old World. A return to the days of serpentine dragons with wedge-shaped heads, this is going to be an beautiful centerpiece model in so many armies. Well worth the brief wait for the reveal!

This teaser from a few weeks ago on 06/09/26 gave us a pretty solid hint. That eight-pointed star on the hilt of this sword could only be wielded by a noble warrior of Sigmar, right? What’s that? It’s a symbol of Chaos Undivided? Oh. I suppose that makes more sense. Well, again, we didn’t have to wait long to learn its provenance.

It’s the the intimidating polearm wielded by the upcoming new Chaos Lord on Foot, also for The Old World. The whole Old World Chaos line is getting an incredible refresh, and this guy is going to look awesome leading your warbands. Better yet, his weapon has a handy chain that can conect to his mitten so he doesn’t lose it when playing in the snow.

Feathered Fury

This hint from 06/16/26 spurred lots of speculation. Certainly the tail of a beast, but what kind? Rumours of a new feathered Saurian for the hosts of the Seraphon seemed to take the fore but were just a little off the mark. Fortunately, we didn’t have to wait long to find out.

It’s the tail of a Drakolithe! What’s a Drakolithe, you ask? Well…

Accompanying the Dragon Masters are smaller, scaled beasts called Drakolithes. They chase down escaping targets, intercept outflanking enemies, and use their predatory skills to detect prey attempting to hide.

To further clarify, Drakolithes are the hunting companions of the Aeldari Exodites, preveiwed on Friday. Dino-riders are back, baby! Ugh, I’m so excited about this one.

That’s the Rumor Engine Round Up completed for June. Will our two stragglers be revealed in July?

What do you think those last two teasers are for?
