Previews Pokemon World Championship Promos; Includes ‘World Celebration’ promo for LGS
The Pokemon Company International announced the location of the 2027 North American International Championships.
The NAIC is headed for the Windy City in 2027. This major Pokemon tournament will move from New Orleans, where it has been held for the past three years, to Chicago, Illinois. Chicago has been host a number of major TCG events over the years, most recently MagicCon in 2025 (see “MagicCon Chicago 2025 in Photos, Part 1“).
Before heading to Chicago next year, the competitive Pokemon TCG circuit will be making a stop in San Francisco, California for the 2026 World Championships. They unveiled a commemorative promo for the event, Paradise Resort, as well as a Welcome Kit and a World’s Pikachu card that will be given out at FLGS to players attending a World Celebration event.
