WizKids unveiled the Marvel HeroClix: 25th Anniversary booster set, a new set of collectible miniatures, which will hit retail in December 2026.

In May 2002, Marvel HeroClix: Infinity Challenge arrived at game stores and changed the world of miniatures and collectibles forever. It was the very first CMG to feature a licensed IP (see “Marvel CMG Details“). While Mage Knight is credited as being the first ever CMG (see “Product of the Month“), the release of Marvel HeroClix was perhaps more significant for the games industry because it was the first CMG to sell incredibly well (see “Shipping in Waves“), and it attracted fans outside of the hobby channel via promotions timed with the release of the first Spider-man movie (see “Movie Moolah!“).

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Marvel HeroClix, WizKids will release a new booster set. The set contains classic sculpts of various Clix from different sets and offers up gameplay reminiscent of the early days of the game. There are also brand-new Legacy cards for the set, included as brick-toppers. The set comes in boosters, which contain 5 HeroClix and an Object/Terrain Marker/One-Shot card, and in Booster Bricks that have 12 boosters.

Booster Bricks retail for $227.88. Retail Chase Boosters are also available for this set for retailers that meet the purchase requirements. These special packs are limited in quantity and come with 3 Miniatures (including one Chase miniature), 2 One-Shot Cards, a Legacy Card, a terrain marker, and an Object token/its card.
