The second part of the Hellfire Crisis is out today! What started as a rebellion threatens to shake the very foundations of Cheliax. And your characters have the chance to see what falls out as the diabolical aristocracy of Cheliax threatens to tear itself apart. In Hell’s Destiny, you’ll take on the forces of Hell itself as the Hellfire Crisis reaches a new, high-level fever pitch.
Hell’s Destiny – Coming This July
This adventure path is a continuation of the ongoing storyline explored in Hellbreakers, which follows the war between Cheliax and its neighboring enemy, Andoran. This time, it all centers around a port city, Corentyn, which has been bled and squeezed of every silver piece possible to support the war. When the city protests, Cheliax declares martial law and seizes any neutral ships in the area.
That’s where you come in. As freedom fighters and saboteurs, or even just nobles hoping to get out from under the talons of the current ascendant house in Cheliax. But the adventure path sprawls from there, moving into the depths of Golarion’s hells as you explore it.
“War between the hell-sworn nation of Cheliax and its old enemy Andoran ripples across the Inner Sea. Yet Cheliax’s greatest foe might be its own long-oppressed people–including several heroes trapped there when Cheliax declares martial law and seals its borders. These heroes won’t just free themselves; they’ll unite the infernal empire’s worst enemies to defeat Cheliax on land, by sea, and even to the depths of Hell itself!
Hell’s Destiny is a 256-page hardcover Adventure Path designed for four characters, starting at 10th level and reaching 20th level by the campaign’s conclusion. This volume also includes a gazetteer of the dynamic port city of Corentyn, an exploration into Cheliax’s diabolical aristocracy, as well as useful new items, exciting character options, and a host of dangerous monsters.”
It’s nice to see high-level adventure paths out there. And this one takes you from 10th-20th level, making for a spectacular conclusion to the current chapter of Cheliax. One thing to keep in mind, Paizo devs are on record saying a 100% happy ending isn’t guaranteed. The stakes are high, and the future of Golarion hangs in the balance.
