Star Trek Adventures has two free new digital supplements that expand and update the guides for both players and GMs.
Modiphius announced today that it was updating the Star Trek Adventures Player’s and GM’s Guides. These two supplements, aimed at either side of the screen, add more tools, tips, and guidance on everything from making a compelling character with advanced traits to prepping a whole campaign and using new tags and extended consequences. All the little things that add more depth to your game. And as of today, there’s a new digital document that revises/updates these guides that you can download today.
Star Trek Adventures Guides – Players And GMs Have Something To Celebrate
Modiphius has taken the opportunity to not only update the guides, but to fold in more stuff that hadn’t been upgraded to 2nd Edition yet. The digital “revision document” should be available to those who already bought the Star Trek Adventures Player’s and GM’s Guides. However, you should also be able to find them on the downloads page.
If you had these books originally, you might well know that some oft he rules changes they made carried over into 2nd Edition. Both the Player’s and GM’s Guides only came out in 2021 – as Modiphius was evolving the design of Star Trek Adventures.
Now, you won’t have to buy a whole new book; just make sure to consult the conversion document:
“With the release of the game’s second edition, we’re taking the opportunity to update Star Trek Adventures first edition material we weren’t able to include in the second edition core rulebook or supplements. Nathan Dowdell, the 2d20 Systems Developer, revised the game components of these guides that have not made it into a second edition supplement and compiled that information into a document for each guide. We now provide those documents, for free!
And if you haven’t bought the guides yet, there are still a few print copies to purchase as well as the digital editions. The second edition revision document will be added to the download package for the guides as well as the Star Trek Adventures download page.”
