Cubicle 7’s upcoming adventure anthology for The Old World RPG, Talagaad Adventures, is a grab bag of secrets, sieges, and Sigmar.

Before too long, you’ll be able to descend even deeper into The Old World Roleplaying Game, thanks to the upcoming Talagaad Adventures, an anthology of adventures designed to take you into a world of secrets and intrigue and danger. With five separate adventures and a variety of foes, it will showcase everything the new Old World RPG has to offer.

Talagaad Adventures – Five Old World Adventures

This marks the first big adventure book for the Old World Roleplaying Game. Which is the second of two RPGs set in the Old World, though it’s set in the “World of Legend” rather than the more “modern” times of Warhammer Fantasy.

Taking place in the titular city of Talagaad, this anthology has everything from street gangs to Sigmarite pirates. Which, you know, not a sentence I’d have dwelled on, but I think stranger things have been done in the name of Sigmar.

“The World of Legend is ripe with danger, intrigue, and power struggles, and nowhere is this more evident than in the port town of Talagaad and its surroundings. Witches and Witch Hunters, dock gangs and State Army enforcers, cultists of rival gods — each conflict threatens to spill out onto Talagaad’s streets, where unfortunate locals might be caught in the crossfire. It’s a place where the desperate can rise to power, and the innocent are all too easily swept away.

Talagaad Adventures is a brand-new supplement for Warhammer: The Old World Roleplaying Game. Players will navigate this treacherous world in five standalone adventures, each with its own set of challenges, mysteries, and deadly foes.”

Curious as to what kind of adventures you can expect? Here’s a quick taste:

  • Something Fishy: The assassination of a town crier entangles the characters in Talagaad’s criminal underworld, where they must contend with street gangs, scheming merchants, and the crushing boot of the Talabec State Army.
  • The Hungry Towers: The characters intervene in a border dispute between two rival nobles, whose vassals starve as the tension escalates.
  • Oars in the Water: The characters are sent to help a merchant trader escape upriver, as she is pursued by Sigmarite pirates.
  • If the Leaves are Green: A Taalite midseason ritual gives way to horror when the festival is attacked by Beastmen, who drag the celebrants off screaming into the woods.
  • The Siege of Klepzig: The characters are caught between rival factions inside a walled village that will soon be subjected to an Orc and Goblin assault.
