In September, Mantic Games will release a new wave of products for Halo: Flashpoint, including the Spartan Edition starter set, Flashpoint Rulebook Pack, Banished and UNSC Marine models, and a deluxe gaming mat.
The Spartan Edition starter set includes everything needed to play the game, updated to the current version 1.5 and including content from the War Games Expansion (see “‘War Games’ Comes to ‘Halo: Flashpoint’”). Designed for new players, this set includes 20 pre-assembled models, the full game rules and a tutorial ruleset, playing board and cardboard terrain, cards, and dice. The updated rulebook features instructions for how players can build their own Fireteams. MSRP is $149.00.
Players looking for a more streamlined update can opt for the Flashpoint Rulebook Pack, which includes the updated version 1.5 rules, tokens, and a piece of cardboard terrain with an MSRP of $30.00.
Four new model sets are also planned, two for the Banished and two for the human side:
- The Banished Reinforcments set offers Sangheili, Unggoy, and Kig-Yar mercenaries to fight alongside the Jiralhanae, with 13 plastic miniatures, 13 unit stat cards, and a special order card. MSRP $80.00.
- Spartan Killers features a trio of powerful banished warriors, including the blademaster Jega ‘Rdomnai and the pack brothers Hyperius and Tovarus. Comes with three resin models, three unit cards, and a special order card. Some assembly is required. MSRP $79.00.
- The UNSC Marines set brings a baker’s dozen of marine specialists, including snipers, medics, comms specialists, and corporals to lead them. Has 13 plastic miniatures, 13 unit stat cards, and two special order cards. MSRP $80.00.
- Fireteam Grizzly provides four Spartan specialists clad in MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armour, including a CQB with energy sword, Gungnir with plasma launcher, HAZOP with M45 Shotgun, and JFO with Concussion Rifle, plus four unit stat cards. MRSP $45.00. The models in this set were included in the War Games expansion.

Rounding out the wave of releases is the Zeta Halo Deluxe Gaming Mat, a full-color cloth mat depicting part of Installation 07, with a non-slip rubber backing, suitable for quick and easy setup. MSRP $55.00.
