Next week, Armageddon is nigh. And not just in the “life in 2026” kind of way; you’ll be able to pre-order the 40K boxed set.
If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that Armageddon could not be timelier right now. And not just because of how things are in general, but also, people have been hyped for the new edition for a good while now. What better way to celebrate the launch of a new edition than with a massive box full of Orks, Marines, and of course, the new rulebook. All this, next week!
Armageddon – Pre-Order Next Week
It’s not every day you get to pre-order Armageddon. And I guess that’s still technically true, since you won’t get to pre-order to it until next weekend. But what a boxed set; Orks and Marines going at it with as much dakka and codex-approved materiel as they can fit into the box.
Orks vs. Marines is a classic throwdown. It’s just good clean fun. Who doesn’t love dakka? And one thing that has been consistently true across the various editions of 40K is that Orks are always a good time to fight against. Even if you’re losing to the big green Waaagh!!! it’s pretty hilarious.
The Marines are in top form as well, bringing out enough Intercessors and Eradicators to deal with at least two different frontlines. Not to mention jump packs galore.
Though don’t overlook the non-miniature star of the boxed set is the new Operation Imperator book which will only be available in Armageddon. For now.
And while Games Workshop certainly has a lot, once they run out, they run out. So if you’re looking to get your hands on the Armageddon box set, be sure and get your pre-orders in. The new edition is nigh at last!
