Hachette Boardgames announced Panic Lab, a new party game by Gigamic, which will hit retail in June 2026.
In this game, amoebas have escaped the labs, and are making a dash to freedom via the building’s air vents. Players will need to track them down by rolling dice to determine what amoeba they are hunting and which they lab they escaped from. The amoebas are traveling in a circle, and can use the air vents to change their position on the field of play. The first player to successfully lay their hands on an amoeba card gets a token, and the player who earns five tokens first wins the game.
The game supports two to 10 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 20 minutes.
Hachette Boardgames USA is also bringing Gigamic’s Pirate King to U.S. retail (see “‘Pirate King!’“).
