The ‘Cosmere RPG’ Is Expanding With New ‘Mistborn’ Campaign & World Guide

The Stormlight Archive was only the beginning. Brotherwise Games expands the Cosmere RPG with a whole suite of Mistborn this November.

There is no denying the sheer weight of Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. The legendarium comprises several series, including Elantris and The Stormlight Archive, and most relevant for today’s headline, Mistborn. Because soon, you’ll be able to play in the world of Mistborn with the retail release of a whole suite of books for Mistborn for the Cosmere RPG.

Cosmere RPG Gets Mistborn In November

Right, pretty much exactly what it says up in the header there. In November, Brotherwise Games will be releasing Mistborn as a campaign setting for the Cosmere RPG. Just a few months after Gen Con, you’ll be able to push/pull yourself headlong into the Mists, as long as your Allomancy is up to snuff.

There’s a whole suite of releases planned for the first foray into Mistborn. As you might imagine for one of the biggest series in the Cosmere (aside from Stormlight Archives, which, you know, already have been making headway), there’s a ton to dig into.

For starters there’s the Mistborn Starter Set, which includes a 72-page quickplay rulebook so you can get right to playing, beginner box style. It also comes with a short adventure, battlemaps, tokens, dice, character sheets and all the other accessories you’d expect.

Then there’s the core rulebook for Mistborn, the Mistborn Handbook. This is another chunky book, weighing in at 405 pages. It has all the rules you’ll need to make Mistborn specific characters, as well as for running adventures in the mist-shrouded world. You’ll find everything from new character paths and talent trees, to a new Plot Die mechanic.

Want a campaign to run in Mistborn? The Mistborn Legacy Adventure has you covered, with a 265 page campaign that takes you from level 1 to level 9 and spans both Era 1 and Era 2 of Mistborn. Or go even deeper into the lore with the Mistborn World Guide, a 285 page book that pokes around every corner of Scadrial.

All that to say, the Cosmere is getting a lot bigger this November.
