Brotherwise Games will release Mistborn, a new expansion for Cosmere RPG, into retail on November 4, 2026.
The new wave of books adds Mistborn content, based on the series of fantasy novels by Brandon Sanderson, to Cosmere RPG. Misborn content had previously been licensed to produce a standalone RPG by Crafty Games in 2011 (see “‘Mistborn Adventure Game’“); this group of books officially adds it Cosmere RPG as a campaign setting. The core products in the wave include a starter set and four rulebooks.
The Mistborn Starter Set contains a 72-page rulebook that offers up quick play rules for the setting. It also comes with a 48-page adventure, “Hope in Ashes,” that is designed for level 1 characters. The box also comes with battlemaps, tokens, dice, character sheets, and more.
The Mistborn Handbook is 405-page hardcover book that includes rules for building characters and adventuring in this campaign setting. The book reviews the rules for Cosmere RPG, features flexible character paths and talent trees, and adds a Plot Die mechanic to the mix.
Mistborn Legacy Adventure is a 265-page campaign book. It includes an adventure that will take level 1 characters all the way to level 9. The story takes place during both Era 1 and Era 2 of the Mistborn novel series.
The Mistborn World Guide is a 285-page book that goes into the history and culture of Scadrial. The book features lore for GMs to use to build campaigns as well as a bestiary with monster stats.
Welcome to Scadrial is a softcover introductory guide to the Mistborn series, created especially for Cosmere RPG. It is a visual guide that welcomes players to the setting for the first time.
