Into U.S. Retail
Gamegenic will release Magic: The Gathering – The Hobbit TCG accessories into U.S. retail on August 14, 2026.
This new line of accessories coincides with Magic’s return to Middle-earth in The Hobbit booster set (see “Lineup“). The accessories line features a variety of deck boxes, including five Squire 80 XLs, two Squire Plus XLs, a Soft Dynacrate 100 XL, a Soft Crate 80, two Sidekick PRO XLs, two Bastion 80 XLs, and two Bastion 100 XLs. There will also be five Shiny Playmats available as well as four Prime Playmats, two 2-Player Prime Playmats, and two Prime Table-Sized Playmats.
The wave of accessories also contains 10 different types of Premium Art Sleeves. The line also has six Zip-Up 18-Pocket Albums and a Zip-Up 24-Pocket Album. Artwork and images of these accessories, which will showcase heroes, villains, fight scenes, and landscapes from The Hobbit, will be revealed at a later date. Gamegenic also recently unveiled Magic: The Gathering – Cards Almanac, a new premium card album (see “‘Magic: The Gathering – Cards Almanac’“).
