Shonen manga from VIZ Media, and Jujutsu Kaisen in particular, dominate the list of the Top 20 best-selling Adult graphic novels according to Circana (formerly NPD) BookScan data for March 2026 (3/1/2026 – 4/4/2026) provided to ICv2.
There are no non-Asian comics in the March Adult Top 20, and only one title that is not Japanese: Vol. 15 of Solo Leveling, the newest volume of the best-selling manhwa series.
The top title is Vol. 20 of Chainsaw Man, a series that has cooled a bit from its peak but still hits the top 20 when a new volume is released; two earlier volumes were among the top selling graphic novels of 2025 (see “Full Year 2025 Circana BookScan“). Vol. 19 topped the chart in October 2025, its release month, and it stayed in the Top 20, along with two other volumes, in November and December. This new volume tops the chart again but hasn’t brought any other volumes on its coattails.
Jujutsu Kaisen, almost always has a few volumes on the chart, and this month it has ten. Vol. 29, released in February, is in the number 2 slot, and both recent and early volumes fill out the other nine places. That means readers are not only discovering the series, they’re staying with it, which is good news for VIZ.
