Mantic Games has placed Kings of War 4E onto preorder with an expected shipping date of November 2025.
The next edition of Kings of War kicks off three years after the release of 3E (see “‘Kings of War’ Rulebook“) with a Two-Player Starter Set and a 4E Starter Bundle. The Claws in the Sand Two-Player Starter Set features the Yan Infantry up against the brand-new faction for Kings of War, the Xirkaali Empire. The set contains 60 models, a core rule booklet, and assembly guides for $155.00.
The 4E Starter Bundle comes with a Two-Player Starter Set as well as the new, full Kings of War 4E Core Rulebook. The Core Rulebook features all of the updated rules for Kings of War 4E and comes in a hardcover format. The 4E Starter Bundle retails for $215.00. Mantic will also roll out the background lore and rules for the Xirkaali faction in an Invasion expansion book (MSRP $60.00).
