Creature Curation will release Vast Grimm zines and Battle Binderz zine folios, which will hit retail in 2026.
The zine format for TTRPGs has been growing in popularity for a little while now, but it has really taken off in the post-pandemic era. The zine TTRPG movement also got an extra boost when tariffs took effect (see “Erratic Tariff Policy“) because they were cheap to produce and easy to ship. Creature Curation is now full-on riding this wave with their new line of zines for Vast Grimm, a science fiction TTRPG powered by Mork Borg (see “‘MORK BORG’“).
They have five Vast Grimm zine adventures coming to retail in 2026: Humanity’s Protectorate, Terminus S.T.A.R., Killing the King’s Bounty, Threat Registry 01, Netwurk Operator Manual, and Crew Member Operator Manual. The Crew Member Manual contains a game mechanics overview, character creation and more; The Netwurk Operator Manual has everything the GM needs to run a game. Each of these zines will retail for $17.99.
For zine lovers that were fond of keeping their rogue reading material in a Trapper Keeper in the 80s and 90s, Creature Curation has them covered with their Battle Binderz line. These three-ring, A5-sized binders are a blast from the past, featuring two built-in pockets and of course, a super-strength closing tab to keep those precious zines well-protected. It will retail for $22.99.
