Devir Games will release Schmidt Spiele’s One Round?, a party game by Tobias Tesar, into U.S. retail in Q3 2026.
In this cooperative party game, players attempt to close the gaps in a word circle in an attempt to win the game. There are 100 numbered cards that players can write on, but the game starts cards numbers 33, 66 and 100/0 laid out in a circle. Each is labelled with a chosen starting word, and 12 of the other cards are placed face down in a circle in the middle of the table.
The goal of the game is to put the remaining cards in the correct place in the word circle as the game progresses. Players secretly look at the number on the top card on their turn, then come up with a word that indicates the card’s position in the circle. Players need to work together to place the last card correctly they lose their three life markers.
This game is for two to 12 players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 15 minutes. It will retail for $20.
Devir Games will also release Berlin 1960 , a new hidden role game by Flaminia Brasini and Virginio Gigli, into retail (see “‘Berlin 1960’“).
