Comic retailer organization ComicsPRO will host its Online Open House, a fall event the organization launched during Covid, this Thursday and Friday, October 23 and 24, the organization announced. The event is open without cost to retailers, distributors, and publishers; registration is required.
Sessions include a heavy focus on comic store data-handling, with presentations from all four comic store POS systems (ComicHub, Comic Shop Assistant, Comic Knowledge, and Manage Comics), and a session on ComicsPRO’s Comet data standard.
Circana’s Kristen McLean will present a data download on publishing and entertainment trends; members of the ComicsPRO board will share info on the organization’s initiatives and release the results of the organization’s 2025 distributor survey; and the organization will present the 2025 ComicsPRO Industry Award and Memorial Award. Educational sessions and retailer roundtables fill out the schedule.
