Play to Z will release a new edition of Dogs of War, a board game by Paolo Mori, into retail in March 2026.
This game first came to the U.S. via CMON in 2014 (see “‘Dogs of War’“). It later came under the Play to Z banner through a strategic partnership with Shut Up & Sit Down and was originally slated to come out in late 2025 (see “Strategic Partnership“). In this game, players take charge of six once-great Houses in a steampunk-renaissance world and raise an army to end the endless wars and become the greatest House. Players will need to take as many battlefield trophies as they can and strategically betray other Houses in order to stand victorious at the end of the game.
Dogs of War is for three to five players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 75 minutes. As of the publication of this article, the game project is fully funded on Gamefound at $64,540 from 972 backers (about $66 per backer).
