Bandai revealed Newtype Rising, a new booster set for the Gundam Card Game, which will hit stores on July 25, 2025.
This set follows up the Beta Edition release (see “‘Gundam TCG: Edition Beta’“) of the brand-new TCG with the first widely-available set through distribution (GD01). The booster set will include new Unit, Pilot, Command and Base cards that allows players to bring different elements of the Gundam anime series to the battlefield. It offers up more Mobile Suits and Pilots to combine the Beta Edition card pool, and introduces red cards to the game that feature Zeon and Neo Zeon units.
For collectors, the set will also include 47 alternate-art cards with different rarities. Packs come with 12 cards and a token, and 24 packs will come to a box. Each pack retails for $4.99.
