Ares Games will release two Nuts! Publishing wargames into U.S. retail on September 24, 2024.
The first game headed to retail is Italia 1917-1918: A Farewell to Arms. This historical strategy game allows both seasoned wargamers and newbies to play through key scenarios in this campaign that was fought out across the Italian Alpini to German Alpenkorps. It uses the same game system previously used in Somme 1918 – Bloody Spring. The game is for one to two players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60-360 minutes.
The second game is Phantom Fury 2E. This game, first published in 2011, sends players into the streets of Fallujah as US Marines. The game focuses on the 3rd Battlion, 1st Marine Regiment in the Jolan District as it handles insurgents. This is a solo game for ages 14 and up that plays in 120 minutes.
Ares Games also recently revealed a new edition of Mega Civilization called Mega Empires for preorder (see “New Edition of ‘Mega Civilization’ for Preorder“).
