The Game Boy was originally released in North America 35 years ago

It’s been 35 years since the North American release of the original Game Boy!

As of July 31, 2024, the Game Boy is officially 35 years old! In case you couldn’t tell, some of our favorite games on the classic handheld include Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue and Pokémon Yellow… and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Tetris, Super Mario Land, Kirby’s Dream Land, etc. The list goes on and on!
