Exploding Kittens announced Happy Salmon, a new edition of the classic card, for release into retail stores in November.
Happy Salmon was originally published in U.S. markets by North Star Games, and was recently picked up by Exploding Kittens (see “Exploding Kittens Acquires ‘Happy Salmon’“). It featured a salmon pouch packaging, which was similar to that of Bananagrams, which could be easily be placed on slat wall hooks or as part of a cash wrap display. The Exploding Kittens version comes in a box instead, and the artwork has been replaced with illustrations by Matthew Inman of The Oatmeal webcomic.
The game box comes with 96 cards and an instruction manual. It is for three to eight players, ages 6 and up, and plays in a minute and a half. This game retails for $12.99.
