Privateer Press Previews February Releases

We’re here, getting ready for the Holiday season and New Year while Privateer Press has got love in their hearts, ready for February. And they’ve got a bunch of new releases they’ll be bringing out that you can fall in love with now so you’re ready for them when they arrive. Let’s take a look.

The Dragoon Air Cavalry is the Coalition of Free States’ highly mobile strike force. At the heart of the Cadre are its two Dragoon squads, one specializing in unleashing firepower at range and the other specialists in combined arms. The squads are supported in turn by a shared Dragoon Gunner attachment armed with a physics destabilizing Particle Blaster, a Dragoon Strike Team Leader solo with a suite of command abilities, and the Storm Vulture, a flying vehicle Champion packing a powerful punch! This Cadre is especially noteworthy for its exceptional maneuverability. Disrupt your opponent’s offensive capabilities by dominating the rooftops until you are ready to strike at the time and place of your choosing.

The Regulators are the ISA’s answer to arcane threats. Supporting the empire’s Justicars, this specialist strike force includes a heavily armed and armored Regulator squad backed by an attachment made up of three wyrd Witch Hounds, who use their strange powers to disrupt enemy Cypher effects. The Regulators are additionally backed by a squad of swift moving Tracer combat drones and are commanded by a Regulator Reeve, a channeler with Arc disruption capabilities. The Cadre is rounded out by the Headsman, a Champion warjack that carries some of the most powerful mechanikal weaponry ever developed by human hands.

Dwelling in vast chambers within the Aeternus Continuum’s greatest temple complexes, the Divine Tempests are the Champions of the Terminus Cabal. These apocalyptic oracles of destruction are each attended to by a Fury-channeling Talon squad and defended by a pair of massive Synteriuns. The Talons are further augmented with the addition of a Relikon, a powerful mechanikal attachment specialized in Arc and Cypher manipulation. Accompanying the Cabal is the Nekosphynx solo, a stealthy and mechanikally enhanced feline hunter capable of short leaps through time and space.

The Harbingers of Cyriss are a battle force of Aeons. The heart of the Cadre is its two squads, the Exalted Paragons and the winged Antecessors Eternal. The Paragon Commander solo who leads the Exalted Paragons in battle also serves the Empyreans as a Fury-channeling weaver. Unlike the Saber servitors, who serve the Empyreans as expendable soldiers, the Aeons are ancient spirits too valuable to risk losing in battle. To save their spirits from this ignominious fate, an Eternal Metator Champion attachment leads the Antecessors Eternal into battle. The Metator collects the souls of those who fall in battle, generating vast amounts of arcane energy in the process.

The Thousand Worlds sourcebook is the definitive rules and lore resource for the Warcaster: Neo-Mechanika tabletop miniatures setting, compiling all previously published game rules into a single tome as well as updated force-building requirements. Lavishly illustrated, it is packed with lore exploring the various factions of Warcaster as well as the complex Hyperuranion in depth. An extensive timeline details humanity’s arrival and migration across the galaxy, and detailed technical schematics and specs reveal the secrets of the mechanika, vehicles, and warjacks Warcasters use to wage war. With nearly a dozen short stories exploring the factions and characters you’ll find on the tabletop, The Thousand Worlds will immerse players in the people and conflicts that rage across the Cyriss galaxy as it prepares each player, the Warcaster, for their next battle.

The World Clock stands as a legendary testament to humanity of the protection promised by the First Guardians, but within its rings are carved the very reasons why such protection will be needed—and the prophecy of Earth’s invasion and potential decimation.

When the King of Camazotz was still merely a man, the Ancient Altar called to him in his nightmares, beckoning him to the jungle with whispers of salvation for his people who were suffering from the harshness of the Death Lands. There, on the Ancient Altar, the king sacrificed his honor guard, drank their blood, and became the embodiment of darkness. Now he ruthlessly draws power from many different altars as they poison the world with their dark magic.

The Ape Bomber takes the cake as one of the most terrifying of the giant apes to behold. And while carrying a bomb with your feet is not a job with a high-life expectancy, the few that survive to become silverbacks are given the highest honors and even bigger bombs to carry.

Stalkers train relentlessly within the Draken Armada to master complex aerial maneuvers, allowing them to always find the best vector to attack an objective. Stalker wing leaders are ace fighters, capable of stalking prey no matter where they hide.

Some of the most prolific serum users in the Legion become saturated by their serum over time, and so with each dose, a Legion Striker gets stronger and more adept at its dance of death.

The only thing more terrifying than a whirling axis of sharp edges and pointed tips is a bigger, angrier, and more effective whirling fan of death. The momentum of Dervish strikes can fell even the largest adversary in one savage attack.

Martian Menace attack formations have a command ship for every class of ship, and the larger the invading force, the greater that command’s presence. Each is equipped with a targeting matrix that feeds the squads of Vanguard information directly from the Martian fleet command.

Mollock brutes live up to their names with savage brutality. The largest and most terrifying among them often command the smaller ones, “teaching” them the Subterran assault patterns that ravage enemies who think they’re dealing with a lesser intelligence, only to find out too late they are not.
