Kung Fu Panda 4 topped the weekend box office for a second weekend in a row with $30 million domestically bringing its total to $107.7 million. Internationally, the film added $46.6 million over the week to bring that to $68.8 million. Worldwide the film has grossed $176.5 million.
Dune: Part Two remained in second place in its third weekend dropping just 37%. The movie grossed $29.1 million domestically to bring that total to $205.3 million. Over the week, the film grossed $78.9 million internationally to bring that amount to $289.4 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $494.7 million.
Arthur the King debuted in third place with $7.5 million domestically.
Imaginary slipped one spot to fourth place with $5.6 million domestically. It has now grossed $19.1 million. Internationally, the film has grossed $2.7 million for a worldwide gross of $21.8 million.
Cabrini rounded out the top five grossing $2.8 million domestically to bring that to a little over $13 million. Internationally, the film grossed $90,132 over the week to bring that to $90,201. Worldwide, the film has grossed $13.1 million.
In comic film news…
Madame Web slipped to twelfth place with $400,000 to lift its domestic total to $43.5 million. Internationally, the film has grossed $53.9 million. The movie sits at $97.4 million after five weeks.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Hashira Training added $170,000 to its total to bring its domestic gross to $17.5 million. Internationally, the film has grossed $26.5 million. Worldwide the movie has grossed $43.9 million.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom added about $100,000 to its domestic total. Domestically, the film now stands at $124.5 million. Internationally, the film remained at $309.9 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $434.4 million.
The week’s overall box office success…
Numbers have 30 films earning $87,053,631 from 30,990 theaters. That’s a drop from the previous weekend’s $136,142,860 from 33,824 theaters and 69 films. The average earning was $2,809.09 which is a decrease from the previous weekend’s $4,025.04.
