Bob Marley repeats in first place, while Demon Slayer debuts in second, and Madame Web tumbles

Bob Marley: One Love

Bob Marley: One Love took first place at the weekend box office for the second weekend. The movie added $13.5 million to its gross to bring its total to $71.2 million after two weeks. Internationally, the film added $20.4 million to its total which now stands at $49.4 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $120.6 million after two weeks.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Hashira Training debuted in second place with $11.6 million. Internationally, the film grossed $16.7 million for a worldwide total of $28.3 million.

In third place was another debut, Ordinary Angels with opened with $6.5 million. There’s no international gross.

Madame Web tumbled to fourth place after coming in second the previous weekend. Its $6 million is a 60.9% decrease from the opening weekend. The film has grossed just $35.4 million domestically after two weeks. It also grossed about $16.3 million over the week internationally to bring that total to $42 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed just $77.4 million in two weeks.

Migration rounded out the top five with $3 million to bring its domestic total to $120.4 million. Internationally, the movie added about $8.3 million over the week to bring that total to $148.3 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $268.8 million.

In comic film news…

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom added about $250,000 to its domestic total. Domestically, the film now stands at $123.8 million. Internationally, the film added $100,000 over the week and has grossed $309.9 million. Worldwide, the movie has grossed $433.7 million.

The week’s overall box office success…

Numbers have 36 films earning $58,809,907 from 35,227 theaters. That’s a dip from the previous weekend’s $78,624,765 from 38,489 theaters and 63 films. The average earning was $1,669.46 which is a decrease from the previous weekend’s $2,042.79.
