What would Ash Ketchum and Pikachu’s adventures in Paldea have looked like?

Since the announcement of Ash and Pikachu’s departure from their starring roles in the Pokémon anime, the fanbase has become torn between the excitement of new protagonists and locations and the melancholia of seeing the end of a 25-year-old journey, at least on our televisions.

The possibility of Ash and Pikachu continuing their journey on our screens has been a widely discussed topic within the Pokémon Community, in which we all have our own interpretations or ideas about it.

But what would Ash Ketchum and Pikachu’s adventures in Paldea have looked like? The answer is brought to us by the talented fan artists 小管de*su, 小灰-two and 贼恩 who have created an incredible video depicting the iconic duo arriving in the new region, embracing new responsibilities, interacting with new trainers and Pokémon and finding new challenges.

The video also includes a rendition à la Ash Ketchum of “Dokimeki Diary,” the Japanese opening theme of Pokémon Horizons, interpreted by 小管de*su.
