Cryptozoic Entertainment has announced that it will offer several new products, exclusive and limited edition collectibles, and previews of its upcoming slate of collectibles at WonderCon, March 24-26 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
At Booth #1337, it will showcase the new Rotten Tomatoes: The Card Game, based on the website for movie reviews, and the Superman: Prince of Krypton Statue, which reimagines the character as a classical Greek sculpture. In addition, the company will have two limited edition collectibles: the Harley Quinn The Suicide Squad Movie Collectible: Black & Gold Edition and the WonderCon Exclusive Cosmic Mothman figure, part of the Cryptkins™ Unleashed line. Collectibles fans can also look forward to previews of the Dancing Peacemaker Bobble Figure, which is coming to Kickstarter on March 28, and Cryptkins: Series 3 figures.
To celebrate the release of the Superman: Prince of Krypton Statue, Cryptozoic will have a signing session with Laurent Pierlot, the statue’s superstar designer and sculptor, on Saturday, March 25, from 3 to 4 pm. Fans can get a CZX Promo Card featuring the statue if they purchase it at the show or from the Cryptozoic website during the initial release.
The new and limited edition products at Cryptozoic’s WonderCon booth are:
Rotten Tomatoes: The Card Game: Based on Rotten Tomatoes, the definitive website for movie reviews, this fast-paced party game asks up to 20 players to rank movies based on what they think their Tomatometer scores are. Mixing player knowledge and easy-to-learn gameplay, it is designed to be the perfect game for any film buff looking to test their cinematic knowledge. Adding to the fun are Wild Cards that invite all players to shout out answers at the same time. It will be available for $24.99.
Superman: Prince of Krypton Statue: Reimagining the Super Hero as a classical Greek sculpture, the regal polyresin statue measures nearly 15 inches tall from the base to the tip of the removable sword and features gold-accented armor and a helmet. Sculpted by Laurent Pierlot, Cryptozoic’s second Pantheon of Justice statue is limited to 2500 pieces and individually numbered on the base. Early orders directly from Cryptozoic come with an exclusive CZX Promo Card. It will be available for $164.99.
Harley Quinn The Suicide Squad Movie Move Collectible: Black & Gold Edition: This variant of the Harley Quinn The Suicide Squad Movie Collectible features a gorgeous black-and-gold color scheme and premieres at WonderCon. The 7.5-inch collectible comes packaged in a display-worthy window box with a unique sticker, which is individually numbered from 1 to 750. It will sell for $44.99. Please note: Fans who preorder this collectible from Cryptozoic prior to March 24 will have their orders shipped by the time WonderCon begins.
Cosmic Mothman (Cryptkins Unleashed): This variant of the Mothman vinyl figure from Cryptozoic’s popular Cryptkins Unleashed line sports eye-catching translucent blue paint and glitter, as well as metallic gold on various features. The 5-inch collectible comes packaged in a window box with a foil sticker marking it as “Exclusive Species.” It will sell for $25.
Finally, Cryptozoic will preview several new products, including:
Dancing Peacemaker Bobble Figure: Based on the Max Original series Peacemaker, the 6.25-inch collectible celebrates the series’s memorable, choreographed opening credits. The Kickstarter launches March 28 and will feature a video that pays tribute to the opening credits. During the campaign, backers will be able to preorder three different versions of the figure, including exclusive Bloody and Golden Editions. Fans can sign up now to be notified when the Kickstarter goes live.
Cryptkins: Series 3: They do exist, and they’re back! Cryptozoic’s original Cryptkins IP features creatures from myth and folklore who are equal parts cute and scary. The 13 unique characters in this latest release include Skunk Ape, Hippocamp, Jackalope, Alien, and Champ. Each 2.25-inch tall figure comes packaged inside a collectible blind-reveal miniature crate. The figures will be available later in 2023.
Batman: Champion of Gotham City Statue: This polyresin statue takes the Super Hero to a different era, reimagining him as a classical Greek sculpture that measures over 12 inches tall from the base to the tip of the helmet and features a shield shaped like the iconic Bat symbol. Sculpted by Laurent Pierlot, Cryptozoic’s third Pantheon of Justice statue is limited to 2500 pieces and individually numbered on the base. Early orders come with an exclusive CZX Promo Card. It will be available for $164.99.
