Source Point Press is launching a shared horror universe starting with The Curse of Cleaver County, a new series that will debut on March 22, 2023. With the first issue in Final Order Cutoff week, the publisher has just unveiled a new 1:10 ratio variant cover by series writer Garrett Gunn, Ryan G. Browne, and Jean Francois Beaulieu. In addition, Source Point announced that they have signed a deal with Skibavision for a movie adaptation.
Written by Gunn, with art by Kit Wallis, the first five-issue arc of The Curse of Cleaver County focuses on the city of Port Harlow and the local legend of the Hooked Horror of Harlow, an undead longshoreman with a thirst for revenge. The second volume will shift to a different location with a different killer, but the stories are intertwined. The universe will expand further with the release of the RPG murder mystery comic Murder by Mail.
Source Point recently announced it was launching a new imprint focusing on Jewish creators and stories (see “Source Point Press Launches New Imprint”).
