Marvel Comics will release two new Star Wars comic titles, Star Wars: Crimson Reign and Star Wars: Life Day, into retail stores in November.
Star Wars: Crimson Reign is a five-part miniseries that continues the story that began in the War of the Bounty Hunters crossover (see ” ‘Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters Alpha’ “). The story will features beloved characters and a plotline that explores even deeper into the SWU underworld. The first issue is written by Charles Soule with art by Steven Cummings. There are eight different covers for this issues done by artists such as Leinil Francis Yu, David Lopez, Rahzzah, Valerio Giangiordano, Clayton Crain, Khoi Pham, Ario Anindito, and Steven Cummings. This book will retail for $4.99 and hit stores on November 3.
Star Wars: Life Day is a one-shot that is a collection of festive tales from the saga. Han Solo and Chewbacca are under fire, and hope is all but lost. Chewie takes some time, while pinned down, to review some of the lessons of Life Days from past and present in an effort to inspire Han. This comic features stories written by Cavan Scott, Justina Ireland, Jody Houser, and Steve Orlando with art by Ivan Fiorelli and others. It comes with three covers: a main cover by Phil Noto, a variant by Jan Duursema, and another variant by Chris Sprouse. This book will retail for $4.99 and hit stores on November 17.
