Niantic has announced a new season for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:

Welcome to the Season of Alola

March 1 at 10 a.m. – June 1 at 10 a.m.

Conduct Research on the Islands of Alola!

Throughout the Season, you’ll be able to complete different Special Research lines to learn about each of the islands in Alola. These Special Research lines will be available to collect until the Season ends on June 1!*

If you complete them by June 1, 2022, you’ll unlock a bonus Special Research line at the end of the Season!

Trainers who obtain the end-of-Season Special Research by completing the four Special Research lines will be able to purchase the ticket in the shop for more rewards.

Tickets for the end-of-Season research will also be available in the shop to purchase for US$4.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency)**.

Available to collect from March 1, 2022 to June 1, 2022

3/1: Welcome to Alola!

Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time

The styles of Alola will also be coming to Pokémon GO this season. Trainers can look forward to an avatar item inspired by Comfey coming to the in-game shop soon.
