Pokémon Champions’ Regulation M-C has brought a major competitive shift, with Mega Garchomp Z, Mega Salamence and Mega Golisopod among the new Mega Evolutions making early tournament impacts. Mega Garchomp Z appeared on both finalist teams at the Frankfurt Regional Championships and helped Kiran Singh win in Brisbane, while Rillaboom has featured on more than half of teams at some events, pressuring Water-type Pokémon with Grassy Glide and supporting new strategies. Male and Female Indeedee have also gained prominence through Psychic Terrain, enabling powerful Expanding Force attacks and protecting partners from priority moves. The format has boosted strategies built around terrain, Mega Raichu Y and sand teams, while increasing pressure on Mega Charizard Y, Mega Swampert and Basculegion; continued tournament results are expected to shape the developing metagame.
