Maestro Media and AMIGO have inked a North American publishing partnership agreement.
The new partnership begins in 2027. Maestro Media will initially bring two AMIGO games to NA markets, Fruit Punch and Speed Cups (both designed by Haim Shafir). Fruit Punch (aka Halli Galli) has sold over a million units worldwide.
“AMIGO has spent decades making games that families around the world know and love, and partnering with them is a milestone for Maestro Media,” said Javon Frazier, CEO of Maestro Media. “This partnership lets us do that with some of the most proven titles in the industry, and Fruit Punch and Speed Cups are the perfect place to start.”
The publishing partnership gives AMIGO access to markets they had seemingly backed off of in 2025 when they closed up AMIGO Games, Inc., the U.S. arm of AMIGO Spiel + Freizeit GmbH in Germany (see “AMIGO Games, Inc. Will Close Up Shop“). AMIGO Parent CEO Alexander Jost cited that the company could not “meet the economic challenges of the American market” at the time as their reason for closing up shop (see “Erratic Tariff Policy“). Maestro Media has a great deal of experience in introducing European games into NA markets, thus making them an ideal partner for AMIGO.
“North America is an important market for AMIGO, and we wanted a partner who knows how to reach players there and shares our belief in simple ideas that create unforgettable moments,” said Cristiano Scibetta, CEO at AMIGO. “Maestro Media has shown it can take a beloved European game and make it feel at home with North American families.”
