American Mythology and Goodman Games Announce Dungeon Crawl Classics Comics

At Baltimore Comic Con, American Mythology Productions has announced a major new publishing partnership with Goodman Games to create original Dungeon Crawl Classics comic books. Expanding the legendary tabletop RPG universe while staying relentlessly true to its dark fantasy spirit, this bold collaboration bridges the best of vintage gaming grit and high-octane comic storytelling.

Veteran horror and genre scribe James Kuhoric takes the helm to craft visceral tales set in the unpredictable world of DCC. Teaming up with Joseph Goodman, this project promises stories steeped in dark sorcery, lethal stakes, and the wild gonzo energy that defined tabletop roleplaying golden ages.

Dungeon Crawl Classics is a tabletop role-playing game published by Goodman Games and uses the Open Game License. Goodman Games launched the rpg in 2012 but the line began in 2003 as a series of modules for Dungeons & Dragons 3rd edition, and then eventually 4th edition before switching to the DCCC RPG in 2012.

The comics have been built from the ground up alongside Goodman to honor the deadly challenges, patron deities, and distinct aesthetic of the tabletop phenomenon. They’ll featured brand-new quests, sinister dungeons, and unforgettable characters that provide rich reading for comic fans and game masters alike.
