Heathside Trading, in partnership with BBC Studios, will release Doctor Who: Battles in Time Card Game into North American markets on October 15, 2026.
The Doctor Who: Battles in Time Card Game was originally released in 2006 in the U.K. by GE Fabbri alongside a companion magazine. Five sets for the game were released before it ended its run; the last one, Devastator, hit retail in 2008. In 2025, Heathside Trading and BBC Studios entered a licensing agreement to bring the game back for its 20th Anniversary, and in 2026, the game hit U.K. markets via the MasterReplicas website.
The first new booster set, Obliterator, will release in North American markets with both a Limited Edition and an Unlimited Edition. This set contains 142 cards and showcases the Doctors (through the 15th Doctor), villains, and various monsters on cards. The rarity breakdown is as follows: 90 commons, 40 rares, 10 super rares, 2 Vortex rares (chase cards), and 6 boxtoppers.
