
Nintendo revealed a major lineup of games for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch during its Sept. 9 Nintendo Direct, including the new 2D adventure Metroid Ravenous and 3D platformer Kirby and the World Beyond, both exclusive to Switch 2. Metroid Ravenous launches Jan. 28, 2027, while Kirby and the World Beyond arrives in spring 2027 as the Kirby series celebrates its 35th anniversary. The presentation also confirmed Final Fantasy VII Revelation for April 8, 2027, Monster Hunter Wilds for Dec. 4, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis for Feb. 12, 2027, Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave for Sept. 17 and Persona 4 Revival for May 20, 2027, alongside enhanced editions of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Pikmin 4. Several games are arriving sooner, including Star Fox Adventures for Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics and Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko’s Mystery Dungeon -Classic HD- later today, while the Mario Kart World free update adds 10 classic Super Mario Kart courses, two Knockout Tour routes and Spectator Mode. The showcase also revealed Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil 2 Deluxe Edition, Resident Evil 3, Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered and Stellar Blade Complete Edition, as well as new titles including Mega Man: Dual Override, Danganronpa 2×2, MECCHA CHAMELEON and Metroid Ravenous.
