Pokémon GO’s 2026 Pokémon World Championships event is now underway, bringing new costumed Pikachu, special raids, battle bonuses and a limited-time GO Pass through Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. local time. Pikachu wearing a Cosmog-themed spacesuit and World Championships 2026 Pikachu are making their Pokémon GO debuts in raids, while featured wild encounters, event-themed Field Research and special attacks give Trainers additional ways to participate. The GO Battle League is also increasing its daily limit from five sets to 15, allowing up to 75 battles per day, with wider stat ranges for Pokémon earned as battle rewards. Trainers automatically receive the GO Pass: PokémonXP and 2026 Worlds, which offers rewards for completing tasks and earning GO Points, while the GO Pass Deluxe costs $4.99 and the GO Pass Deluxe + 6 Ranks costs $6.99. Major milestone bonuses include double Stardust from catches at Rank 10 and an additional 3,000 XP from raids at Rank 20, with GO Pass Deluxe holders able to earn up to two additional free Raid Passes per day after reaching Rank 20.
