Marvel Comics has announced a series of five Incursions one-shots, each depicting a different conflict from the era of Jonathan Hickman and Esad Ribić’s 2015-16 series Secret Wars (see “Marvel Launching New ‘Secret Wars’ Event in 2016“).
The first in the series will be X-Men: Incursions #1, by Alex Paknadel and Jim Towe, which will bring together two mutant realities, Days of Future Past and House of M, in a clash that only one can survive, a choice that must be made by Kate Pryde. The one-shot will be released on November 18, 2026, with a main cover by Gleb Melnikov and variants by Ribić and Bryan Hitch.
Two more one-shots will be released in December: Spider-Man: Incursions #1, by Christos Gage et al., and Fantastic Four: Incursions #1, by Ethan S. Parker, Griffin Sheridan, and Paco Medina. The last two, X-Men ’92: Incursions #1, by Chris Yost, Craig Kyle, et al. and Avengers: Incursions #1, by Al Ewing and Fran Mariscal Mancilla, will go on sale in January 2027.
