Nakama Press will publish the baseball manga Ace of the Diamond, by Yuji Terajima, as three-in-one omnibus editions. This marks the first time that the manga, which was originally published as 47 volumes in Japan, has had a print release in English, although Kodansha Comics has published the entire series digitally. The story of a young pitcher with an unusual style who is recruited by an elite high school baseball team, the series has won both the Shogakukan Manga Award and the Kodansha Manga Award in the shonen category, and there is also a 36-volume sequel, Ace of the Diamond Act II. Both the original and the sequel have been adapted into anime series, with a new season of Ace of Diamond Act II set to premiere in October 2026. Nakama will release the first omnibus volume on March 23, 2027, as a 584-page paperback with an MSRP of $24.99, and it will also publish a digital edition of the omnibi.
