The Mario Kart World Open August 2026 event will take place from August 15 at 2:00 p.m. PT through August 16 at 6:00 p.m. PT, giving players in North and South America a chance to earn 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points by participating. The event uses 150cc VS Races with normal items, no teams or COM players, connected course selection, and a maximum of 32 races. Players will need Mario Kart World, a Nintendo Account, an internet connection, and a Nintendo Switch Online membership to participate.
