A big new sourcebook of all things mystical has unleashed Impossible Magic (and four new classes) across Golarion. Check it out!

Pathfinder 2E’s Impossible Magic looks to make your games even more full of weird, wild, and most of all powerful magic. The new sourcebook, which is out as of this week, is a veritable grimoire of arcane power, packed with hundreds of new spells, magic items, arcane universities to hail from (or adventure at), and of course, the four new classes: the Magus, the Necromancer, the Runesmith, and the Summoner. All of this and more awaits in the new book.

Pathfinder 2E: Impossible Magic – Available Now

This book really does have something for everyone. Of course, players will be drawn to the four new classes, because who doesn’t love a new class? I certainly do. I love trying new things all the time; can’t imagine playing the same class over and over and over again (though no shade if that’s how you prefer to play). But GMs will find tons of new spells (more than 240) to play with.

And that’s saying nothing of the new magic items, or the new arcane schools of magic that are literal schools, not just kinds of spells that you get to play with. Magic is one of the places Pathfinder 2E has been carving a wild niche into the RPG space as of late, and I cannot wait to see what Paizo has done this time.

“The perfect spell can solve just about any problem. From simple cantrips to reality-warping magic, this new rulebook contains a plethora of options for any adventurer who wants to delve into the unknown and unlock their true magical potential.

Within the confines of these pages lies the magnificent spellcraft of four wonderfully magical and unique classes! “

Of course, probably the most exciting thing is still the new classes. Here’s a quick overview of each of them. The Necromancer is all about summoning your own army of undead minions. I believe you do have to provide them with their own jumpsuits and goggles. The Runesmith carves runes into their gear and also their enemies and allies. Meanwhile the Summoner has a constant magical companion to fight for them (finally, a powerful pet class). And of course, the Magus is for anyone who has spellsword fantasies, which is most of us, I would wager.

You can find all of these, and more, in Impossible Magic, available now at the link below.

Now watch, it turns out that the real impossible magic is that it was actually all Criss Angel and we’ve all been collectively mindfreaked
