Ten Speed Graphic offered some details on their graphic adaptation of Rebecca Yarros’ fantasy novel Fourth Wing and other two books in her Empyrean Series at their panel during the ComicsPRO Retailer Day at SDCC. The three novels will be adapted into six graphic novels, with the first volume of Fourth Wing set to be released in 2027. Set at an elite college for dragon riders, the series has sold over 16 million copies since Fourth Wing was first published in 2023, and a television adaptation is in the works at Amazon MGM Studios. The book has also been adapted into a board game (see “‘Monopoly’ Takes on ‘Fourth Wing’”). Ten Speed Press will publish the first volume simultaneously in paperback, hardcover, and deluxe editions.
