Renegade Game Studios has partnered with AMC Global Media to produce Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe RPG, a new TTRPG line.
The new gothic horror TTRPG line will include books for Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, and others. Players will be able to create and play characters in their own Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe stories; examples of character archetypes are vampires, witches, psychics, and humans that interact with supernatural beings.
The game engine will feature a chronicle-style storytelling system that allows players to change eras as they roleplay their character’s path through the Immortal Universe timeline. It has a Flashback System that allows players to relive relevant moments in their character’s past to the current chronicle. The game also has a collaborative storytelling Rewrite mechanic, allowing players to briefly gain control of the narrative and shape dramatic moments. Other mechanics of interest include a triple damage track system as well as a new take on character healing that comes via a player getting in touch with a character’s true identity.
The first books to be produced for this line will revolve around Interview with the Vampire and will hit BackerKit in Fall 2026. Renegade Game Studios recently revealed Tribes of Gaia, a new rulebook for Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5E (see “Garou Tribe Book“).
