Mad Cave Studios will publish the second graphic novel by celebrity chef Kim-Joy, who was a finalist in the Great British Bake Off, and artist Alti, the creators of Turtle Bread. The new YA graphic novel, Quiet, has a sci-fi twist: Mary, who has anxiety and selective mutism, never speaks at school. When she is assigned a mental health robot to help her stand up for herself, what starts as assertiveness turns into pranks on her bullies and then gets even darker, leaving Mary to wonder if she has crossed a line from victim to bully. The comic will be published digitally on ComiXology Originals in Fall 2026 and then in print by Mad Cave in Summer 2027; Kim-Joy will be doing a signing at the Mad Cave booth at SDCC on July 25.
