If you’re looking for recommendations, here’s a few:
- Alien RPG – Core Rulebook is on sale, along with the Starter Set; this is one of the better space horror games out there. With its cinematic play mode and campaign play mode, you can find ways to explore different facets of the galaxy. Whether you want to get personal or operatic, you’ll find the tools to do so here.
- Blade Runner RPG – Another big sci-fi franchise, the Blade Runner RPG, whose core rulebook and starter set are also on sale, casts you as titular Blade Runners (though don’t miss the expansion that lets you play as members of the Replicant Underground) and puts you in a world of cases to solve, people to question, and moments to be lost in time, like tears in rain.
- Dragonbane – The core set is on sale. And you’ll want to pick it up if you haven’t tried it. This modern take on a game first released in Sweden in the 1980s, is absolutely wild in the best way. With fantasy duck people, monsters, and so much more, you can keep coming back to Dragonbane and find something different each time.
