Tons of new stuff for the Age of Darkness – both big and small. Plus Blood Bowl updates and new minis!
New Plastic Custodes & Journal Tactica
A block of elite units joins the armies of the Ten Thousand. Four Gyrfalcon Jetbikes, a Pallas Grav-Attack, and a Telemon Heavy Dreadnought are all bringing their considerable fire to bear upon those who would dare to turn traitor. Even better, this is the first box set to be branded for both 40k and the Horus Heresy. That’s right; you can use these models in both games!
All of the units in this box will also be available as independent kits soon after the release of the battlegroup box. Rules for all of the above are currently available in Liber Custodes: The Forces of the Emperor.
We’ve also received a glance at the upcoming Journal Tactica devoted to the attack on the Thousand Sons’ homeworld of Prospero. Where previous looks at this battle focused on the fighting between the Thousand Sons and Space Wolves, this delves into the combat actions of the Custodes who faced off against the nefarious Neverborn.
This book contains extensive lore about the Legio Custodes and their deployments, alongside a new Cohort Doctrine, a new Legendary Mission, and rules for Adjutorum Sodalities – retinues of specialists to support your Shield Host.
The book also contains a Daemons of Tzeentch army list that brings Screamers, Horrors, and more to the battlefields of the Age of Darkness.
The new custodes and journal will be releasing later this year.
Legion Imperialis Titanic Reinforcement
A trio of new titan configurations are coming to the tiniest battlefields of the 31st millenium. Two new warlords are equipped with devastating volkite, and conversion beam weaponry are backed up by the ol’ relable quake cannons. You can now kit out your warlords for a variety of roles, including anti-armor and infantry.
Meanwhile, the new Reaver Titan with Graviton Obliterator and Volkite Annihilator may be smaller than it’s Warlord brethren but is no less threatening. This Reaver configuration will excel at destroying heavy armor and fortified buildings.
The new weapons will also be available for sale independently to add to your existing titans. Better still, rules for these new weapons are coming to Adeptus Titanicus as well as Legions Imperialis!
Blood Bowl Big Guys and Sevens!
A trio of Big Guys are making a return to Blood Bowl with all new sculpts, starting with the fabled Ogre, Morg ‘n’ Thorg. Morg’s the ultimate Blood Bowl mercenary, having played for almost every team over the course of his career. Accordingly, his new kit comes with a variety of options to let you change his loyalties for whichever team you need him on.
Not to be outdone a brand new Minotaur is here with all the gribly bits needed to model the most popular mutations for Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwar, and Chaos Renegade teams! A wealth of optional heads, shoulder pads, and loincloths will let you play dress-up to your hearts content.
And of course, the Skaven aren’t missing out with an all-new modular Rat Ogre kit. This model has 3 head options and two prehensile tales, so you can make him as gross as you want.
Finally, Blood Bowl Sevens is making its return to the game as an official format in the new edition. Faster, smaller games, Blood Bowl Sevens is a great introductory format but fun in its own right.

This release will also be accompanied by a new set of dedicated pitches for the format.

Who would win in a fight Valdor, a Warlord titan, or Morg ‘n’ Thorg?
