Orders for IDW Publishing’s landmark 300th issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have topped 200,000, the publisher revealed. The issue, which is due out on July 22, 2026, will start a new story arc by Eisner-winning writer Gene Luen Yang and will also have a backup story about the history of the TMNT.
Variant covers include the first Turtles cover ever by Frank Miller (see “Miller Does Turtles”) and a previously unpublished cover that was penciled by TMNT co-creator Peter Laird and recently inked by the other co-creator, Kevin Eastman. IDW also has a blind bag program for this issue (see “Preview: ‘TMNT’ #300 Blind Bag Covers and Interior Pages”), with both exclusives and full-art versions of open-to-order covers.
