Dark Horse will publish a new collection of six Witcher graphic novels along with the previously unpublished adaptation of the framing tale, The Voice of Reason. The hardcover anthology, Andrzej Sapkowski’s The Witcher: The Last Wish—Complete Collection, will include The Witcher, A Grain of Truth, The Lesser Evil, A Question of Price, The Edge of the World, and The Last Wish, all of which were published individually as standalone hardcover graphic novels, as well as a cover gallery and sketchbook section. The 384-page, 8” x 12” hardcover will have silver foil gilded pages, a ribbon bookmark, and a foil-stamped cover and will go on sale on December 15, 2026, with an MSRP of $124.99.
“It is uncertain if The Voice of Reason is a glue between the stories, or if it is the stories that make The Voice of Reason a whole, said Milena Zając, Editor/Writer at CD Projekt Red, in a statement accompanying the announcement. “It serves an insight on Geralt and his place in the world as a witcher, giving more background to his complex character. But for me, it’s also a reminder of the importance of therapy — a break to reflect on what we’re going through. Between hunting evil and filth, this professional monster slayer also experiences moments of contemplation. That’s why it’s an inseparable part of The Complete Collection.”
The Witcher franchise began as short stories and novels, then was developed into a video game by CD Projekt Red. The Dark Horse comics are based on the video game. The stories have also been adapted into films, television series (see “‘The Witcher’ S4 Teaser”), and board games (see “Third ‘The Witcher’ Board Game Raises Over $12 Million”).
